Established in 1983, CUTS International (www.cuts-international.org) is a global public policy think- and action-tank on Trade, Regulation and Governance. With its headquarters in Jaipur, India and having almost four decades of experience of working on policy and practice issues from grassroots to the international level, it has established itself as a leading southern voice on public policy matters by effectively combining evidence-based policy research with advocacy, networking and capacity-building efforts. Other than having centres in different parts of India, the organisation has six overseas centres: Accra (Ghana), Nairobi (Kenya), Lusaka (Zambia), Hanoi (Vietnam), Geneva (Switzerland) and Washington DC (United States of America).
The proposed Loss and Damage Fund to be delivered by the World Bank is welcome, but it should not be considered the only source of climate finance.
